The future of libraries in Sutton

We are currently looking at how we can save £935,000 from our libraries and heritage service. The Council has committed to keeping all of its main libraries open but still needs to find savings.

We have already had some ideas from staff and service users. These have been added to this dialogue, so please let us know what you think by rating and commenting on these ideas.

We would also really like to see what ideas you have about how the library service can change to save money - so please add your own thoughts to the discussion.

We plan to reach our decision about how we change the Library and Heritage service by the end of April. This dialogue will run until the 22nd April 2011, so that we have enough time to consider all of the ideas and comments you submit.
